About
Damon Eubanks is an Army veteran, defense industry professional, former small business owner, and father of three who is running for Alabama House District 25 to strengthen public schools, support small local businesses, expand affordable housing and healthcare, and fight for higher wages for working families. Born and raised in Huntsville, Damon grew up in a working-class family and graduated from S.R. Butler High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Jacksonville State University, becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. He later completed a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Laura, served together in the U.S. Army before returning home to Huntsville, where they are now raising their three children, who attend local public schools.

Damon’s commitment to public service grew from grassroots advocacy and supporting local businesses. He helped modernize Alabama’s beer laws through his volunteer work with the Free the Hops movement and later founded Wish You Were Beer, North Alabama’s first craft beer bottle shop and taproom in Madison. Today, he works at Redstone Arsenal as a Senior Technical Writer and Team Leader for a defense contractor supporting the U.S. Army.
Damon is running because he’s tired of seeing state leaders focused on political grandstanding instead of delivering real solutions that improve the lives of everyday Alabamians. Damon believes the government should focus on practical solutions that strengthen communities and create opportunities for everyone. For him, public service isn’t about political games; it’s about showing up, doing the work, and fighting for the people you represent.
